• Beyya Traders

  Launching

  Beyya Traders is a Maldivian supplier and marketplace for hardware, household products, machinery, and gadgets — licensed under GAMAG (SP01922018). Whether you are stocking a shop, outfitting a workshop, upgrading a home, or buying in bulk, the platform is built to connect buyers with quality goods at fair prices.

  Beyond retail, Beyya is growing into a managed marketplace: sellers can list products, reach customers across the islands, and rely on Beyya for delivery, tracking, and payment handling. Island delivery covers Malé, Hulhumalé, Villingili, and atolls — with seller onboarding and hub operations now being prepared for launch.

• Easa Arts

  Ongoing

  Easa Arts is a Dhivehi platform for language, arts, and creativity — founded in 2017 and now formalised as the Easa Arts Foundation (October 2025). Over 3,000 students have been taught online and in person across the Maldives in poetry, music, writing, and film.

  The site brings together recorded classes, live teaching, poet archives (Adyibun), downloadable books, Dhivehi fonts, music production, news, forum, and creative apps such as Lhenveriyaa and Galan. • Feature Film

  In production

  After more than twenty-six years directing Maldivian feature films — from early work in the 1980s through landmarks such as Fathis Handhuvaru (1997) — I am back in active production on a new feature. Writing, filming, and post-production are all underway.

  The project draws on the same blend of poetry, music, emotion, and visual storytelling that has shaped my cinema for decades. Title, cast, and release details will be shared as the film moves closer to completion.

• Poetry Classes

  Ongoing

  Poetry has been central to my life since I began writing at twenty-four. These classes pass on meter, craft, and voice to new readers and writers — in an open, careful, collaborative spirit.

  Three basic recorded poetry courses are available to watch at home on easaarts.com. Live courses, advanced classes, and island workshops are offered through WhatsApp enrolment. This teaching work has run since 2017 and continues alongside the wider Easa Arts programme.
